Inspired by the life and ideals of maharaja surajmal a great indian patriot and ruler of Bharatpur during the Eighteenth century. Surajmal Memorial Education Society was established in 1972 and registered under society's registeration Act 1860. The main aim of the society is to dimonstrate quality educatio in Technology, managment pharmacy and teacher education. The society runs two institutes, maharaja surajmal institute and maharaja surajmal institute of technology in the heart of Janak puri. These institutes are within a campus of eight acres of land. Within the campus we have Raja Mahendra Pratap Hostel which provides accommodation to 230 students separately for boys and girls in a spacious and elegant four storey building with all neccesary facilities. The hostel provides accomodation and nutritious food at subsidized rates. The hostel has common rooms and games room in which the students can enjoy their lessure time. we hope that your stay with us will remain comfortable and enjoyable.

Brief Overview

Raja mahendra pratap hostel is located within the institute's campus. it provides accommodation to 230 students(130 boys and 100 girls) with separate wings for boys and girls in a specious and elegant four storey building with all civic amenities. hostel has a well organized mess with spacious dining hall separately for boys and girls. common rooms for boys and girls and indoor games room. facing the entrance of the hostel is "maharaja surajmal sports complex",a large platground for our students, where the annual sports of the institutes are held.
